Create CSR in Control Panel Cpanel 11 Print

In order to create a CSR in Cpanel 11 follow the steps below:

Step 1 Create a Private Key
 
  • Under Security click on SSL/TLS Manager.
  • Click on Generate, view, upload or delete of private key's link.
  • When the page loads, drive your mouse on the bottom of the page, where you will find “Generate New Key”. Enter the domain for which you want to create an SSL certificate in the field “Host”. Alternatively you can select your domain name from the selection menu(“Select a Domain”).
  • Click on Generate.
  • Click on the link Return to SSL Manager.
  • When the page loads, click on the link Go Back. You will be redirected to the main administration page. (“SSL/TLS Manager”).
  • Continue with the step 2 below.

Step 2 Certificate Signing Requests (CSR)
 
  • Click on the link Generate, View, Upload or Delete SSL CSR (certificate signing requests).
  • When page loads enter the data below:
    Host – Select a domain name from the menu.
    Country – Enter the 2­digit country's code. (e.g. GR for Greece)
    State – Enter the full name of the area.
    City – The name of your city. 
    Company – The name of your company. 
    Company division – Enter the major of your business. 
    Email – Enter your email address. 
    Pass Phrase – Insert a security phrase for your login which consists of characters A­Z and 0­9 only.
  • Click on Generate button.
  • Click on Go back button.
  • Create a CSR copy. You will need it to enter it in the appropriate field in the purchase of your SSL certificate.
