In order to create a CSR in Plesk 10 follow the steps below: |

Step 1 | On the homepage of Control Panel, click on tab "Website & Domains". | ||
Step 2 | Select the category "SSL Certificates". | ||
Step 3 | Click on “Manage” option corresponding to the domain name for which you want to activate the certificate. | ||
Step 4 | Select “Add SSL Certificate”. | ||
Step 5 | Fill the settings of the certificate with Latin characters. Do not use Greek characters because the activation request may be cancelled. | ||
Certificate name : Will help you recognize the specific certificate. Bits : Select level encryption for your SSL. You must select from 2048 bit and more. Country : Fill the country. State or Province : Fill the state or providence. The data you enter must not exceed 64 characters. Location : Fill your location. The data you enter must not exceed 64 characters. Organization name (company) : Fill company's name for which the certificate is issued. Domain name : Fill server's name for which you wish to activate the SSL certificate. E.g. yourdomain.com Email : Enter your email address |

Step 6 | Make sure that all data entered are correct and accurate because they will be used for the creation of your private key. | ||
Step 7 | Click Request. Your private key will be created as well as your certificate's activation request. | ||
Step 8 | In Certificates list [Certificates], enter the name of the SSL which has just been created. A page with the properties of the certificate, as entered in the previous step will open. | ||
Step 9 | Find the CSR section in the page and copy the text which begins with the line -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- and ends with the line -----END CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- |
